Oni@FOSDEM2009

The slides from my FOSDEM talk on the structured concurrency framework Oni are now available online here (pdf).

30 minutes before I was due to give my talk I discovered to my horror that I forgot to bring along a mini DVI to VGA adapter to connect my Macbook to the projector. For a while it was touch and go whether the talk would happen or not. No adapter could be found anywhere, and it wasn't easy to put the presentation onto another machine (I had some Tomcat-based demos set up on my laptop).

In the end the talk did happen (with a bit of delay), thanks to the heroic efforts of Brian King, who let me use his laptop, and MMx, who set up a screen sharing connection between mine and Brian's laptops. Thanks guys!
