[PATCH] Add port in contact and needed updates from cvs head
Mikael Magnusson <mikaelmagnusson(at)glocalnet.net>
2005-09-26 10:58:40 [ FULL ]
Hello,

I'm sending a patch that was needed to compile with current cvs. It also
fixes an issue with the contact header. The port number needs to be
included in the contact header, at least if it isn't 5060.

I also had some troubles with the rdf-files, which I had to copy to
~/.mozilla/zap/1086gref.default.

Regards,
Mikael Magnusson

Hi Mikael,

Thanks for your patches!

That's the pain of working on a mini-branch. One easy way of patching
the zap branch automatically is to run 'make -f client.mk merge_zap'. In
many cases this is all that needs to be done to get the branch to build
again. If they are merge conflicts they will often be limited to
'configure' which can be regenerated with a simple 'autoconf' in the
mozilla/ directory.

stuff for the 0.1 release.
[...]
previously installed zap you need to delete the profile directory
(~/.mozilla/zap or c:/Application Data/username/Mozilla/Zap) so that all
the database templates get copied across. I will fix this in an upcoming
release but probably not for 0.1.

Regards,
Alex

Would be nice to add this to the build instructions on the website.

It isn't working for me. The contact header still doesn't contain the port
number.

Hmm, for some reason my last checkin went nowhere. It's in now though:
