Hi Antonio,

The registration code was in a state of heavy flux for the past weeks 
whilst I was adding support for draft-ietf-sip-outbound-01 and 
draft-ietf-sip-gruu-05. Registration should now work fine (at least for 
the registrars I have tested: isicade and fwd). There might still be 
problems with invites as I am adding support for 
draft-rosenberg-sip-route-construct-00.

It is probably easiest if you come onto irc (irc.mozilla.org / moznet in 
chatzilla, channel #zap), so that we can talk through any issues you are 
having.

On Linux you shouldn't require any packages other than the those 
required for a 'normal' mozilla build. Personally I build on gentoo linux.

Thunderbird doesn't contain any of the patches used by zap yet. For the 
time being you need to compile the zap branch.
