i have seen that but i have not seen any mention of the location of this directory

is it in zap.../defaults ?
why it is not located in the home directory
as normaly for every UNIX application

Hi Jean-Michel,

The profile (which among other things contains your contacts) isn't
properly migrated between zap versions yet. So strange things will
happen if you don't delete your profile directory when upgrading from
one version to the next. I'm assuming that's what's happened here :-(
